Healthcare Career Options
At Allied Health Career Training (AHCT), our mission is to provide quality education at an affordable price. Not only do we ensure that our students are able to pay for courses, we also give them many different options. AHCT offers over fifteen courses and training programs that are both flexible and affordable to fit the needs of all students.
We strive to fit the needs of our students by providing on-site courses in the Wichita area, digital courses and hybrid learning opportunities for all students. This allows each student to attend their required courses while working around their already busy schedules. Over 2,000 students enrolled in our courses last year alone. That is because pursuing a career in healthcare has never been more accessible than it is with AHCT.
Careers Through Allied
By giving students the opportunity to build on current skills or certifications, as well as develop entirely new skills, we have the right fit for everyone. Through the AHCT curriculum, students are able to pursue jobs working in many different locations. Hospitals, nursing homes and at-home care job options are available. Just within the last few years, AHCT has become the largest single provider of new CNA’s and CMA’s in Kansas, and enrollment continues to grow.
Allied offers training courses for the following career paths: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medication Aide (CMA), Phlebotomy Technician, EKG Technician, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), Pharmacy Technician, Adult Home Care Operator, Restorative Aide, Department of Transportation Specimen Collector and Social Service Designee and Activity Director.
Each AHCT training program teaches an important skill. From those who have no previous healthcare experience, to those who have a bachelor’s degree, there are courses available for everyone. The costs of AHCT training programs range from $269 to $2,897. Hourly requirements range between 20 hours and 300 hours.
