Restorative Aide Training

  • Restorative Aides are used in nearly every nursing home, skilled facility, and rehabilitation unit. While working with the therapy department, Restorative Aides help carry out a plan of exercises to maintain a resident’s independence with Activities of Daily Living. 

    This is a self-paced, online course which you can begin immediately upon registering. There is no need to come to Allied. There is a skills checklist component which can be completed on your own through a qualified professional. More information will be provided during your course.

    • Students must be 18 years of age

    • Must be an active CNA in Kansas

    • Must pass an 8th-grade reading level assessment

    • You must provide a valid email address to sign up for this course. This course has an online component and your email is used to register you for our online course delivery platform.

  • This is a part-time online course that lasts a total of 30 hours

    Theory/Didactic: 30 hrs (online)

    Skills Lab: 0 hrs

    Clinicals: 0 hrs

  • Private pay (non-sponsored student) balances must be paid in full prior to the course start date. A non-refundable deposit is due at the time of enrollment to hold your seat. That deposit is applied to your course price.

    Students sponsored by one of our community partners: DCF, Workforce, City of Wichita, Facility sponsors, or other funding sources are exempt from this. Each sponsor will be invoiced accordingly. Students will be given the opportunity to select this payment type when completing the online enrollment form.
