Pharmacy Tech Training

  • In this course students will learn how to receive prescriptions from patients and doctors, measure, package, and label prescriptions, establish and maintain patient records, process payments and insurance claims, and manage inventory.

    Pharmacy Technicians are professionals who work in pharmacies located in hospitals, doctor's offices, and grocery or drug stores.

    Upon completion of this course, students will be eligible to sit for the NHA certification exam. One attempt at this exam is included in the course price.

  • Students must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.

    This is an online course which means that you’ll need to be able to access the internet with a laptop or desktop computer.

    Students must have an email address.

  • This is an online course that lasts a total of 300 hours

    Theory/Didactic (online): 300 hrs

    There is no in-person attendance required for this course.

  • Private pay (non-sponsored student) balances must be paid in full prior to the course start date. A non-refundable deposit is due at the time of enrollment to hold your seat. That deposit is applied to your course price.

    Students sponsored by one of our community partners: DCF, Workforce, City of Wichita, Facility sponsors, or other funding sources are exempt from this. Each sponsor will be invoiced accordingly. Students will be given the opportunity to select this payment type when completing the online enrollment form.
