CMA Update

This is a completely online course.
Coursework must be completed by Monday morning at 8:00 a.m. (or Tuesday morning if a holiday falls on Monday).
Certified Medication Aides in Kansas must update through 10 hours of continuing education every two years as required by KDADS. The student will learn updates on techniques, procedures, and/or new medications.

Students must either be active as a CMA in KS or certification cannot be lapsed by more than one year.
You must provide a valid email address to sign up for this course. This course has an online component and your email is used to register you for our online course delivery platform.

Private pay (non-sponsored student) balances must be paid in full to be turned in as complete.
Students sponsored by one of our community partners: DCF, Workforce, City of Wichita, Facility sponsors, or other funding sources are exempt from this. Each sponsor will be invoiced accordingly. Students will be given the opportunity to select this payment type when completing the online enrollment form. Please note: if you enroll as Sponsored and your Sponsor does not approve enrollment, your account will be reverted to Private Pay and you will be responsible for any balance owing.

After the course end date, and upon successful completion of the course your information will be sent to KDADS. If you are still active on the KS Nurse Aide Registry, your certification expiration date will not change until after your current expiration date.
