Operators Training

This course is designed for those wishing to provide administrative oversight for an Assisted Living or Home Plus Facility in Kansas with no more than 60 beds. Upon completion of this course, students will be eligible to apply to be a registered Adult Care Home Operator through the Kansas Dept. for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS).
This is an online course, there is no need to come to Allied until your state exam.

Students must be 21 years of age and also must meet one of the following criteria:
Bachelor's degree OR
Associate's degree in a healthcare related field OR
High school diploma/GED AND healthcare related experience

This is a part-time course that lasts a total of 45 hours
Theory/Didactic: 45 hrs
Skills Lab: 0 hrs
Clinicals: 0 hrs

Private pay (non-sponsored student) balances must be paid in full prior to the course start date. A non-refundable deposit is due at the time of enrollment to hold your seat. That deposit is applied to your course price.
Students sponsored by one of our community partners: DCF, Workforce, City of Wichita, Facility sponsors, or other funding sources are exempt from this. Each sponsor will be invoiced accordingly. Students will be given the opportunity to select this payment type when completing the online enrollment form.
