CNA Skills Recertification

  • This is not an online course, in-person attendance is required

    This is the skills checklist for Nurse Aides (CNAs) whose certifications have expired. The student will meet with one of our instructors to review skills and concepts.

    • Must have already received KS CNA Certification.

  • This is a part-time course that lasts a total of 3 hours

    • Theory/Didactic: 0 hrs

    • Skills Lab: 3 hrs

    • Clinicals: 0 hrs

  • Private pay (non-sponsored student) balances must be paid in full prior to the course start date. A non-refundable deposit is due at the time of enrollment to hold your seat. That deposit is applied to your course price.

    Students sponsored by one of our community partners: DCF, Workforce, City of Wichita, Facility sponsors, or other funding sources are exempt from this. Each sponsor will be invoiced accordingly. Students will be given the opportunity to select this payment type when completing the online enrollment form.

  • Prior to enrolling, please check the Kansas Nurse Aide Registry at the link below to ensure that your status is inactive. Once the skills checklist is complete we will submit the checklist to KDADS, and the CNA will be reactivated on the Kansas Nurse Aide Registry.
