Home Health Aide Training HHA

  • Home Health Aides assist with a variety of tasks including dressing, ambulation, bathing, housekeeping, and laundry in a home setting. Home Health Aides are employed by Home Health Agencies or Hospice Care Providers.

    This is an online course, there is no need to come to Allied until your state exam.

    • Students must be 18 years of age per KDADS requirement

    • Students must be an active CNA in Kansas per KDADS requirement.

    • Students must pass an 8th-grade reading level assessment per KDADS requirement.

  • This is a part-time course that lasts a total of 20 hours

    Theory/Didactic: 20 hrs

    Skills Lab: 0 hrs

    Clinicals: 0 hrs

  • Private pay (non-sponsored student) balances must be paid in full prior to the course start date. A non-refundable deposit is due at the time of enrollment to hold your seat. That deposit is applied to your course price.

    Students sponsored by one of our community partners: DCF, Workforce, City of Wichita, Facility sponsors, or other funding sources are exempt from this. Each sponsor will be invoiced accordingly. Students will be given the opportunity to select this payment type when completing the online enrollment form.

  • Once you’ve successfully completed your course and passed the state exam, your HHA credential will be added to your CNA registry record on the Nurse Aide Registry. This is where you and your employer will check your status as a HHA.

  • You are only required to attend your state exam which will be at our Wichita, KS location.
