LPN Financial Assistance

Not qualifying for Title 4 federal student aid is a strategic decision that enables us to provide low cost high quality education. This sounds counter intuitive but the administrative costs associated accepting federal dollars for student loans plays a significant part in why the cost of education has skyrocketed over the past few decades.

Our mission is different.

The total cost for our LPN program is $16,850. This is an all-inclusive price that won’t require any additional expenses for books, scrubs, or testing, unlike other available programs you might find. Below, you will find a list of resources and ideas you can reference and combine to meet the financial requirements for our program. We want to work with you individually to build a financial pathway that works for you and us both.

There are three ways to pay for your tuition.

Pay-as-you-go: The pay-as-you-go plan divides the total course tuition price of $16,850 into four equal payments that students must pay for before starting their next module, ensuring that tuition is settled in advance for continued enrollment. Students choosing to “pay-as-you-go” can utilize scholarships, grants, sponsorships, and student loans throughout their enrollment. ( Note: You can apply to finance the total or any remaining costs of your education through Fortify Education anytime between 30 days before the start of the program and before the start of your 4th module.)

Module 1: $4,212.5 required as a down payment to enroll in the program upon acceptance.

Module 2: $4,212.5 is required before module 2 starts.

Module 3: $4,212.5 is required before module 3 starts.

Module 4: $4,212.5 is required before module 4 starts.

Student loan: Finance your total education cost through Fortify Education. Maximum payment terms are 48 months and $2,500 required down payment. ( Note: You can apply to finance the total or any remaining costs of your education anytime between 30 days before the start of the program and before the start of your 4th module.)

Sponsorship: Employer sponsorships are one of the best ways to receive financial assistance. We recommend speaking to your employer about grants, scholarships, and tuition reimbursement opportunities if you are currently employed in healthcare. You might also consider contacting prospective LPN employers and talking to them about training opportunities and sign-on bonuses.

  • You might find that your bank can provide you with a loan for your education.

  • We will be hosting a career fair where we try to feature employers that offer sign on bonuses. A sign on bonus might help pay for the costs of your education. An employer sign on bonus is not guaranteed.

  • Personal savings.

  • Financial Aid Options through Fortify

  • Some people receive tax returns and this money could be applied towards your education costs. Not everyone receives money back in taxes. If you think you will, this money might help to pay for your education expenses. We recommend talking to your tax advisor or specialist on whether you will receive money back in taxes.

  • Friends, family or even organizations like your church, DCF, Workforce Center of Kansas and the City of Wichita might be interested in investing in your education.

EXAMPLE DESCRIPTION Pay-as-you-go: The example described below may not work for everyone and is just an example of how a student could pay for their education. Please evaluate your own personal circumstances, and if you have any questions, please feel free to email us at info@alliedhealthcareertraining.com.

  • Make the first down payment of $4,212.5 from personal savings.

  • Receive a scholarship grant from a local community foundation or employer for $4,212.5.

  • Apply Tax refund to the balance of $2,212.50. (Not everyone receives money back in taxes. If you think you will, this money might help to pay for your education expenses. We recommend talking to your tax advisor or specialist on whether you will receive money back in taxes.)

  • Sign a contract with the employer and pledge your sign-on bonus of $2,000. (Not all students will receive an employer sign-on bonus from our pre-graduation career fair)

  • Partner with Fortify Education before the end of the program to finance the remaining $4,242.5 and make monthly payments until the debt is satisfied.
