Partnership Program Goals

To partner with progressive aging organizations to enhance student learning, employment options, and to advance both the partnering agencies, and Allied Health Career Training.

 

 

1.  

 Partners can be long term care homes of any type, e.g. nursing home, assisted living, home plus, home health agencies, hospice agencies, hospitals and acute care facilities, advocacy agencies.

2.

 Partnering agencies will be those that are progressive and work towards culture change, person-centered care, progressive dementia training, and employee advancement.

3.  

 Partners agree to assist Allied in giving advice and direction of needed improvements regarding student learning outcomes (feedback on knowledge/performance of newly hired graduates from Allied, trends seen in the industry, etc.). Biannual meetings will be held and partners are encouraged to attend.

4. 

 Partners work with Allied to provide learning such as offering clinicals at their location or other opportunities for education, such as tours.

5. 

 Partners will have the opportunity to post job openings on Allied’s Facebook page, job board, and on Allied’s website.

6. 

 Partners will have the opportunity to come speak to graduating students.

7. 

 Partners will be able to leave information about their company at the school.

8. 

 Partners will have the opportunity for their nurses to receive a 2-hour CEU on Normal Aging vs Dementia, at no cost, twice per year.

9. 

Partners will be offered a 30-min in-service at your location once per year, choosing from four in-service options, including dementia training, culture change, and preventing significant change.

10.

Partners will receive a free lunch brought to your location once a year from Allied with information on classes offered by Allied.

11.

Partners have the option to administer an employee payroll deduction of 3 consecutive payrolls for employees that wish to take a class from Allied.

12.

Partners will receive a 10% discount on all Teepa Snow-style Dementia Training from our certified instructor, Susan.

13.

Partner’s employees receive a discounted rate for BLS (CPR for healthcare workers) training brought to your location for $240 for up to 6 employees.

14.

Partners will allow Allied Health Career Training to post flyers of upcoming classes.
