This course is designed for Adult Care Home Administrators and Operators for a better understanding of the importance of regular foot care and how it impacts quality of life and total well-being. This program will provide education on proper soaps, lotions, hygiene, natural remedies for fungus, corns and callouses and proper shoe fittings. Discussion will include the importance of proper foot care provided by caregivers, nurses and trained professionals. Foot care will be discussed in relevance to touch and comfort as a healing measure.
